Bing Yao

CEO

Dr. Yao has spent over 35 years in database management and business intelligence, resulting in innovative reporting, DB, and BI products, as well as many technical publications. After starting XDB Systems, a DB workbench company, Dr. Yao founded Jinfonet Software on the belief that all enterprise users should have easy, timely access to data visualization and analytics through reporting, dashboards, and mobile devices. Dr. Yao has been a Professor of Computer Sciences at Purdue University and the University of Maryland. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

Shuyan Liu  

Shuyan Liu

VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING

Mr. Liu leads Jinfonet's JReport Product Development and Technical Support functions. He has been involved in the development of database and business intelligence products for 27 years. He began his career as a systems developer for the Beijing Institute of Information and Control, and later worked as a systems developer at XDB Systems, Inc. Mr. Liu then served as Manager of Application Development at Beijing Huafeng Company. He then rejoined Dr. Yao at XDB in 1993 as the company's General Manager. He assumed responsibility of Jinfonet's technical operations in 1998.

With over 10 years of sales, marketing and management experience with leading organizations, Mr. Davies is responsible for Jinfonet Software's Worldwide sales operations including enterprise sales, channel sales, ISV sales, and professional services. Prior to joining Jinfonet in 2003, Mr. Davies held international sales and marketing positions with Gartner Inc. (NYSE: IT)‎. Mr. Davies holds a degree in Business Management from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.

Dean Yao  

Dean Yao

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Dean brings over 10 years of experience in software marketing and product management. Previously, Dean was a senior product manager at cloud computing startup Nimbula (acquired by Oracle), where he focused on technical best practices, competitive marketing, and product strategy. Dean was also in technical marketing at VMware, specializing in virtualization clustering and resource management products. He started his career in hardware virtualization research at Intel Research Labs. Dean earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley.
