Bing Yao
President and CEO

Dr. Yao has more than 25 years of experience in the database management and business intelligence industries. He has made significant contributions to both industries through innovations in query processing and database access methods, many of which strongly influenced the development of modern relational database systems. Prior to founding Jinfonet, Dr. Yao founded and managed XDB systems, a database company that developed a DB2 compatible database system and tools for client/server platforms. After XDB merged with Micro Focus in November of 1997, Dr. Yao, along with XDB's key developers, founded Jinfonet Software on the belief that all users should have access to timely, actionable information through a tightly embedded, easy to use reporting platform with a consistent API. Today, Jinfonet is the world leader in embedded reporting solutions and its flagship product, JReport, is an 8th generation product that is helping millions of end users worldwide access and effectively display the information they need to be successful. In addition to his work in the private sector, Dr. Yao has served as Professor of Computer Sciences at Purdue University, New York University, and The University of Maryland.

Shuyan Liu
Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Liu leads Jinfonet's JReport Product Development and JReport Technical Support functions. He has been involved in the development of database and business intelligence products for 23 years. He began his high-technology career as a systems developer for Beijing Institute of Information and Control, and later worked as a system developer at XDB Systems, Inc. Mr. Liu served as the Manager of Application Development and Director of Garment CAD System Development at The Beijing HuaFeng Company and then rejoined Dr. Yao at XDB Software Development, Inc. in 1993 as the company's General Manager. He assumed responsibility of Jinfonet's technical operations in 1998.

Whit Mathis
Vice President, Sales

With over 12 years of sales, marketing and management experience with leaders in enterprise software organizations, Mr. Mathis is responsible for Jinfonet Software sales operations including enterprise sales, channel sales, ISV sales, and professional services. Prior to joining Jinfonet in 2003, Mr. Mathis held senior sales and marketing positions with organizations including Peregrine Systems (now HP), Interwoven (NASDAQ:IWOV), Platinum Technology (now Computer Associates), and Reuters (NASDAQ:RTRSY). Mr. Mathis holds a degree in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. He also studied Executive Management at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.

J.R. Atkinson
Director, Professional Services

Mr. Atkinson brings more than 20 years of experience delivering and managing professional services to software companies. Prior to joining Jinfonet, Mr. Atkinson managed product development, sales and operational support teams for TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSYS), a company that provides real-time wireless market data to customers worldwide. His team was distributed throughout the United States and Europe. Mr. Atkinson has also served as the Vice President of Professional Services for Aether Systems (NASDAQ: AETH) and started a professional services group for Riverbed Technologies. Mr. Atkinson has a proven ability to drive numerous successful development efforts for Fortune 500 clients related to client-server development; database design and implementation; and data warehouse design and implementation. Mr. Atkinson holds a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY at Buffalo, Amherst, N.Y. Mr. Atkinson joined the Jinfonet management team in August 2006.
