Finds specific text in the report. You can find the content you want in two places - in the values of certain field, or in the report content. By default, you search the text in the report content.
To find text in the values of certain field, select a field from the Select Field drop-down list, type the search content in the Value box, and then click the Next button.
To find text in the report content, check the Content check-box, type the search content in the Value box, and then click the Next button.
If the content is found, it will be highlighted using high contrast colors.
Select Field
Specifies the field in which you want to find text. Disabled when the Content option is checked.
Value Range
Specifies the range of the displayed values so that you can select the value you desire quickly from the Value field. Disabled when the Content option is checked.
Value
Specifies the text that you want to find. When the Content option is unchecked, you can select values from this drop down list.
Content
Finds text in the overall report content. The Select Field drop down list and the Value Range drop down list will
be disabled (appear gray) when this check box is checked.
Match case
Finds text only if it matches the capitalization of the text you entered.
Find whole word
Finds text only if it matches a whole word.
Direction
Specifies the searching direction.
Select Up to search from the last found string to the beginning of the report. If it is the first time search, the Up-direction search will fail since it searches from the beginning of the report.
Select Down to search from the last found string to the end of the report. If it is the first time search, it will search from the beginning of the report to the end of the report.
Next
Searches the report or field values for the specified text.
Cancel
Cancels the operation and dismisses the Search Panel.
