Press ReleaseJinfonet Provides Reporting Solution for Variety Club JReport tracks planning and organization data for children's charity events ROCKVILLE , MD – December 19, 2003 – Jinfonet Software is pleased to announce its support of the Variety Clubs International, a network that has raised over $1 billion for children's charities worldwide. Jinfonet has donated its leading actionable information delivery solution, JReport, to the Southern California chapter of the Variety Club to aid in tracking and reporting on their charitable events. "We are very pleased to have Jinfonet as a technology partner supporting the Variety Club of Southern California," says Jeff Goldstein, Variety Club board member. "We have seen first-hand how JReport can improve reporting efficiencies enterprise-wide, and we are glad Jinfonet has agreed to provide their expertise and technology to help us manage and track our charitable events." The Variety Club of Southern California will use JReport to automate the tracking and reporting of all of their charitable event data, including event planning logistics, funds raised, and donors. The chapter expects their board of directors and other users to access the system daily to view data on event planning and fundraising goals. And, because JReport delivers actionable reports via the Web, the chapter's board of directors can easily access and analyze Variety Club data from any Web browser. Board members can dynamically sort, filter, search, and drill down on report data in order to monitor and measure fundraising progress, to determine event success, and to direct further fundraising efforts. Because some of the board members have had prior experience with JReport, the Variety Club knew JReport would meet all of their reporting needs – from ease of integration with their existing IT environment to intuitive use so all of their board members could access and utilize the system via the Web with no training. "Jinfonet is proud to support the efforts of the Variety Club," says Dr. Bing Yao, Jinfonet's CEO. "To be able to help an organization that is dedicated to helping so many children around the world is a privilege, and we are happy to provide our support."
