ACS found their reporting requirements beginning to grow. Many of ACS’s customers sought to further engage their internal clients in reporting. Some customers were exporting reports into Excel in order to do analysis. In seeking a new reporting solution, ACS dedicated time to determining their requirements. The company required a solution that was easy to use, could be seamlessly embedded, and had a Java API as well as cross-platform support for both Linux and Windows environments.
Without the need for dedicated resources, ACS now saves $100K per year. Additionally, we shave off about two hours per deployment because we have packaged JReport in a way that minimizes configuration whenever there are new deployments of our service application.”
