BriefingEdge Solutions, provider of a comprehensive scheduling and tracking system for executive briefing programs, has successfully integrated JReport into BriefingEdge Version 15, a .NET framework, to provide enhanced reporting and dashboards.
BriefingEdge offers a briefing program system that allows companies to schedule, monitor, plan and allocate resources needed to support executive briefings and customer demos across briefing centers located around the world. As BriefingEdge approached its 15th version, it became apparent that adding an advanced, intuitive reporting component to its software would benefit existing customers and allow BriefingEdge to expand its network of services.
A key concern for BriefingEdge was the ability to seamlessly integrate a complete reporting solution into its existing technical environment to ensure that end users had an interactive, intuitive solution to manage their briefing program events. Even though JReport is a pure Java-based solution, BriefingEdge concluded that there was significant value in integrating a world-class reporting engine as part of the BriefingEdge .NET-based framework. BriefingEdge evaluated a number of different reporting tools and ultimately chose JReport for its integration flexibility and comprehensive set of reporting and graphical tools.
Throughout the integration process, BriefingEdge remained impressed with the quality of Jinfonet’s support and accessibility. JReport now enables BriefingEdge users to view, schedule, and analyze the activity in their briefing centers. Users can view summary data across all their events and drill down to specific targeted metrics ranging from speaker performance to customer attendee satisfaction. Briefing center managers will be able to improve speaker performance, increase topic relevance, and produce more customizable events, which ultimately unlocks market potential for briefing programs.
